descriptionErasmus with his baret and fur coat within an ovoform, with text [ see title] surrounded with an hourglass, writing utensils and -paper, the lower part; a crude prospect of the Rotterdam waterfront, [size:3,9 x 11,2 cm.] with ships and the title "Rotterdam" At verso a laudatary poem, in black letter, by Beza on a painting of Erasmus, with two other poems; on his house and another on his statue, both to be found in Rotterdam. A fine portrait of a great man.
