descriptionA fine race horse, seen "en profile" with the groom and the wel dressed owner, portayed near a paddock, a stately home visible in the background. The caption in German, reads: Br.Hengst, gezogen vom Grafen Wilamowitz-Mollendorf 1851, vom the Provost und der Freude vom Morisco und der Waltz etc.Scherz gewann 1853 zu Breslau und Berlin 100 Thaler und 234 Frdor, 1854 zu Berlin 3 mal 500 Thaler, und 288 1/2 Frdor- 1854 zu Celle die Guelphen 510 Louis d'or- Zu Newmarket die Cambridgeshire Stakes 1445 Sterling, 150 Unterschriften uns schlug 18 Pferde,- 1855 gewann er 3 mal zu Warwick, Epsom und Newmarket. An impressive print in a desirable condition.
