descriptionIn a lovely Tuscan landscape, in a Vesalius mode , a dissected male figure stands errect, showing to us mortals his muscles , numbered and letter coded. At a ruined step at lower right-hand side: the title. This fine print was taken from the esteemed anatomical atlas made after Vasalius' immortal woodblock prints.
