descriptionA half-length, naked, young lady,with long hair, right arm, in a "V" shaped gesture, touching her hair, the other arm round her waist . This fine statuette came from the artist's estate, he lived in The Netherlands, escaping for German military service during World War II. Epple was a fierce anti Nazi. "V" shape touching het hair, left arm bent to the right,clamping her waist, thus, supporting her right arm.showing one breast. This fine little item came from the his (Dutch) wife's daughter. He lived in Munich, and fled, as an outspoken anti Hitler activist to Holland, and went into hiding in The Hague, stayed, married, and died there.Was also a painter. Had several exhibitions.
