descriptionHere we find plate xix from the famous "Academie De L`Espee" The most impressive book on fencing ever published, In [the Dutch town] Leiden anno 1628. The Dutch Royal Family used this very work as their fencing instruction- book. A highlight of the so called "Golden Age" of xvii-Th. Century Holland. Complete copies of ths celebrated work are exceedingly rare. This double page plate is one of the most impressive plates.
