conditionA fine and strong impression, with generous margins. Margins browned due to old [paper] tape stains. A small row of pinholes above the boy' s head, and a small thin spot at the rat catchers left cheek. Verso blank.

descriptionA ratcatcher in ragged dress with the tools of his trade. He has grey hair a short beard and wears a high hat with a ragged fur trim. Next to him, a similarly ragged boy who holds a staff at the top of which is a cage full of rats.
