conditionThough not a "print" as such,, where this section is devoted to, we thought it appropriate to show you this fine item! A very fresh and bright, very well preserved portrait, miniature, painted possibly on ivory, en mounte onto a gold lined, black lacquer snuff box.

colouringPainted in very delicate colours
descriptionA bone snuff-box 9,8 x 6,2 cm. with a pure gold lining, hinged. The upper lid contains this finely crafted portrait-miniature by Meuret, set in a gold rim. A very delicate, most detailed piece by this "star" pupil of the esteemed Isabey. A must for the serieus collector.Signed, indistincly "Meuret" at the left hand side.
