The book sold that slowly that the publisher did not risk a second edition until 1909. None the less, this work (along with perhaps Das Kapital and The Origin of the Species) would prove to be one of the most influential book on the 20th Century, the Century of Psychology. "This is unquestionably Freud's greatest single work.
